Description
Brand: Yamaha Type: Compensating Euphonium

You're looking at a 2000's model Yamaha YEP 642 compensating professional/studio grade euphonium. The horn is in mint or nearly new condition. The very few blemishes or on the rear side of the bell and are shown in the pictures. The inner handle stitching of the case has opened up and is also noted in the photos. It has a beautiful "studio quality" town and is meant for a professional or semi professional player. I have owned this euphonium for six years and it has been very well taken care of.I had it professionally serviced last week and will provide the documentation. It has all new corks, felt, and valve guides. The inner shafts of the valves were chemically treated and perform as if new. The valves are brisk and silent upon return to open position. It has been polished and buffed out. No clicking or clacking are noted with any of the valves. The mother of pearl inlay on the buttons are all in tact and there is no erosion or chipping. It retains 98 to 99% of its original luster. The fourth valve on the lower end of the horn is held in place firmly I a handle. All tuning slide move freely as they have been professionally serviced as well.Good luck and thanks for looking. If you buy this warn you will be very pleased.
