Fender's Plus series is poised to become a future classic. A great combo of top of the line features and great American made quality. The Plus series was Fender's top of the line production guitars for much of the 80s and 90s, later to be replaced by the American Deluxe guitars. This gorgeous Telecaster Plus is a rare model made for only a few years before the new Plus series hit in the late 90s. The body is ash for good sound and looks. The 25.5 inch scale maple neck features a 9.5 inch radius Rosewood fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets. A trio of Lace Sensor pickups offer powerful tone with very little noise. The bridge is a Red Dually Lace Sensor while Blue topped Lace Sensor occupy's the neck position. A factory toggle lets you split the Dually pickup. A 6 saddle string through bridge and sealed tuners team up for rock solid performance. The finish is a gorgeous Natural. Very hip look. A nice Tele! Sound Wise, This Tele has plenty of character and expression to it - Acoustically it rings with a natural lively resonance, so know shortage of that classic Fender snap, dynamics and quick response. Very Heavy indeed, weighing over 9 pounds.Fender's Tele Plus series always feels great to me. The big frets and flat radius neck offer easy playability. The Lace Sensor pickups are powerful, bright and have very little noise. They are very clear and are great with effects. Everything works as it should on this example. The neck is straight, action is low and the electronics work Flawlessly. This is a super nice guitar. Collector owned, it has seen virtually no play time. Consequently the guitar is still in Mint Condition with the exception of one minor nick just under the bridge. Very, very nice. Comes in Original Fender Licensed hard-shell case which looks New! Case candy Included as well. Owned by previous owner from new.This is a Killer Rare guitar in a cool color. A fine instrument to add to any collection.
