It is a preamp for microphone / line / instrument for flagship with professional tools such as high pass filter and output PAD.PRE - 73 DLX is an upgrade version of PRE - 73 mk 2.
There are the following differences from PRE - 73 mk 2.■ Tantalum condenser used in signal path
■ Equipped with NEVE 1073 style high pass (low cut) filter (50 Hz, 80 Hz, 160 Hz, 300 Hz selectable), 18 dB / octave roll off
■ Added PAD function to output, selectable from -7, -14, -21, -28 dB. Since this function was provided after the output transformer, it is possible to push the gain at the preceding stage into the output transformer, and to extract the harmonic peculiar to the transformer strongly. It is possible to output at a proper level while producing distortion
■ Carnhill Mic / Line Circuit Board with Transformers and High Pass Inductors
■ Insert jack for EQ-73 can be switched in or out
Switchable 600 ohm output termination and ground lift
■ Selectable active or passive DI input. In active mode, it is possible to select HiZ or 100 k ohm input impedance with internal jumper setting.
■ Does the DI signal pass through the transformer at the microphone input? It can be set by internal jumper whether to bypass it (specifications are possible by switching both active DI and passive DI)
■ Use a relay for panel control such as DI, phantom power, microphone LOW-Z, insert, phase. Design the shortest signal path on the circuit.
■ Improve headroom with redesigned gain switch
■ Rebuilt of the ground design
