This is for a Gibson J35 Relic Guitar. It was Made in 2015 and Was Aged to Look Like a 1939 year model.  It has had a Ton of small Mods to improve sound and Playability as well as being Aged to Look like a Vintage Gibson Acoustic. It comes from the Factory with Scalloped Forward X Braces. I had the Bracing even Scalloped more to match a Collings Guitar I had and vintage 1937 Year Model J35 I once Had. Nothing Was done to Weaken the Structure, the bracing was really Just cleaned up to look more Hand made and I did have them shaved slightly Thinner. The Popsicle Brace was also Thinned as well and the Result was a guitar with enough Volume to play in a Bluegrass Band. It has been my main instrument Live for the Last year and half and I have played around 100 Bluegrass shows with it. It has a Factory Installed LR Baggs Element Pickup with Volume Control in the Top of the Soundhole. The Finish is Nitro and it has finish Checking all over as well as some Relicing and real wear. It has no Cracks or Breaks. They use Hide Glue on this model, a lot of the Features are usually found on Boutique and Vintage Acoustics only. The Face of the Headstock was redone to Look like the originals, Original J35 Guitars were before the Banner Logos that they put on the Reissues. The Tuners are off of a 1939 Gibson Arch top. They have a Little slack compared to new ones, but look and Sound Great and Are Solid. It has a 1.75 Nut and nice Fat Neck profile. The Bridge Pins are Hard Bone pins and the Nut and the Saddle have been Scalloped ala Dan Lashbrook. The Guitar is set Up with Medium Elixirs and Has great Balanced Powerful Tone. It is loud enough to easily Play with a Banjo and it has Nice even Tone and Volume all the way up the neck. I hate to sell it but got to pay for a Old D18. It ships in a Cool Slope Shoulder Hard Case. The Neck is straight and the frets have some wear on the first few, but they have years of life left. The Edges of the Fingerboard I had smoothed and the edges Slightly Rolled to Feel like a Broke in well played instrument. I have yet to play it without someone asking what year vintage it is. The Finish was Yellowed by UV lights and it just has the right Look, feel and sound. Great Little guitar for the money, it looks like a Old J35 without the Heavy price tag. The Bridge was also smoothed down on the edges to match the profile of a Vintage one. The Serial # is still intact on back of the Headstock and the Original Label was removed but I still have it. Relics are not for everybody, but if you love the look, feel and sound of a old one without the hefty price tag, I have not played a better Newer Acoustic. Again, it is a Powerful and Loud guitar with lots of Clarity. I did Everything that could be done to improve tone and playability on a guitar that played and sounded great from the factory.
