Each instrument goes through a multi-point inspection, followed by a set-up process by our in-house tech staff. We then photograph each instrument with high-quality equipment in our on-site photography studio. We know that details like wood grain and color finishes can vary, so we want you to be able to see, to the best of our ability, exactly what you will be receiving.This process takes over an hour for each instrument - from inspection to pictures. We care about the instrument we put into your hands! Rest assured your guitar was not just plucked off of a shelf and drop-shipped to you from a warehouse without the care that it, and you, deserve. A departure from Fender's traditional tone wood choices, the 2017 Limited Edition Malaysian Blackwood Telecaster enhances the traditional Tele style with the elegant look of a Malaysian Blackwood top. Strong and dense, Malaysian Blackwood has plenty of sustain, perfect for soaring lead lines and raucous rhythm work. Designed for comfort and speed, the “Deep C” neck profile on this Tele sports more substantial shoulders. The increased mass and altered geometry creates a more natural feel that’s perfect for chord and single-note playing alike. The custom short-cut-plate bridge features a string-through-body design and three compensated brass barrel saddles, providing vintage vibe and rock-solid intonation. The two JP-90 single-coil pickups found in the neck and bridge positions offer vintage-style tones ranging from subtle to screaming with plenty of mid-range growl and high-end bite. A 1-ply anodized aluminum pickguard gives this guitar a classic and classy look. As a special appointment, this guitar features an engraved 'Limited Edition' neck plate marking it as a special instrument. These are only available in very limited quantities and are destined to become truly sought-after collectibles.
