1934 Martin R-18 in great condition. This guitar was kept in its original case for 35 years without being touched. For its age it looks stunning. It sounds great and still holds that rich martin tone. All the hardware is original. It has a few small scratches but as you can see from the pictures, they're minor. Someone also added a pick-up at some point. There is an input for a cable directly behind the nickel-plated engraved tail piece. With its shaded-top pre-war style 18 looks, 00-sized body, and wonderfully comfortable '34 carve rounded neck, the bar-fretted R-18 is a whole lot of golden-era Martin for the dollars. And, although not anything like a flat-topped 00-18 in tone, the small bodied arch-top has a beautiful, balanced, and focused jazzy voice.00-sized flat-backed body of mahogany and spruce, black binding, 4-layered top purflings, segmented f-holes. Nickel-plated engraved tailpiece, adjustable rosewood bridge, tortoise-celluloid pick guard, ebony nut, C.F. Martin head stock logo and stamp on the head stock's back-side, clipped-plate Grover tuners.
Rounded neck carve with 1-3/4" width at the nut, 24.9" scale, 16" radius. 2-1/4" string spacing at the bridge. With original chipboard case
