The headstock design features Matt Bellamy’s distinctive signature together with the Cort logo along with the Manson logo behind the headstock. The rear of the neck has been finished with gloss lacquer - also as per Matt Bellamy's specification. In January 2015 at the NAMM show at Anaheim, California, Matt Bellamy, the lead guitarist in the rock band Muse, Manson Guitar Works and Cort Guitars announced the result of a special collaboration and the launch of the Cort Matt Bellamy MBC1 Signature Electric Guitar. For years untold Guitarists has wanted their own Matt Bellamy guitar .... but the cost of an authentic Manson (if you've enquired) is for us mere mortals, simply out of reach. Based on the official Manson MB1-S series and featuring a clutch of bespoke appointments such as pickups designed by the Manson Guitar Works team, discrete kill button, and that killer not-quite-Tele-like shape, this is the modern rock machine.
Manson Guitar Works has been making custom guitars with over 30 years of experience and is known for its reputation for innovation and quality. They have worked closely with Matthew Bellamy for two decades and build his custom instruments for both studio and stage work.Matthew Bellamy is the lead guitarist and vocalist of the British rock band Muse.
