What makes this guitar special: A sweet sounding, Japanese-made semi-hollow body from the late '70s. Featuring a birch body & slender maple neck with some gorgeous birdseye figuring. A pair of Ibanez Super 80 "Flying Fingers" humbuckers kick out monstrous tone & superb sustain. Professionally set up by our own luthier so she's ready for action straight out of the case.Cosmetic Condition: Aside from the hardware, the guitar is in really clean condition. There are a few various minor nicks & dings along with mild surface scratches. Both the neck & body binding show a lot of checking, but that only adds to the vintage charm of the guitar. The pickup covers, bridge & toggle switch surround show quite a bit of oxidation. We were able to clean a lot of it off, but it's still quite prevalent. The pickguard deteriorated into pieces & one pickup bezel was cracked so we replaced it. Despite the oxidation all the electronics & components are in good working condition.Neck: Slender profile, 3-piece maple neck with nicely aged cream binding & black side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with abalone dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with practically no wear. Ibanez Pat Pend tuners with pearloid buttons in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" half & half nut - bone & brass; 25" scale length.Body: Double-bound, semi-hollow birch body with dual F-holes. Ibanez Gibraltar slotted tailpiece & locking bridge with nickel hardware. The pickguard has basically disintegrated & the bracket has oxidized, but both are included with the guitar in the case. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 11.1 oz.Pickups: Ibanez Super 80 humbuckers. Bridge - 7.69K ohms; Neck - 7.77K ohms. Dual volume & tone controls with gold knobs; 3-way toggle switch. All electronics are in perfect working condition.Case: Original hardshell case included. The inside of the case shows some discoloration where the guard gassed out, but overall is clean like the guitar.
