Its used but it's like BRAND NEW. The plastic is still on the screen!!!! I am the original owner. My studio is a smoke free environment. The unit is in perfect working condition. It will be packed and shipped in the original boxes. (I originally purchased it from ZZounds USA.) Included (not pictured) to sweeten the deal is a copy of Big Fish Audio CD Platinum Essentials (retail $39.99) AND a personalized Vinyl Based Drum Kit CD (priceless) ready to chop by produced by Gene Brown (Google "Gene Brown Records" to see how deep he is in the record digging game). You get EVERYTHING originally included; the unit, sound library, USB wire, power cable, instruction manuals and quick chart all in the excellent condition. Well, the quick chart is a little wrinkled. The Akai MPC Renaissance follows a long tradition of electronic excellence. The new twist? It utilizes your computer’s processing power and a unique software application to create sound, while the hardware serves as a controller and a USB audio interface. The MPC Software includes a sound library with more than 6GB of material that installs on Mac or PC.The control surface features 16 backlit MPC pads, 16 Q-Link controls and an adjustable backlit LCD navigation screen. Up to 8 pad banks are available at a time. Classic MPC Note Repeat, MPC Swing and transport controls are also included.The audio interface portion of the hardware features 2 XLR/TRS combo jacks with switchable mic/line input gain and 48V Phantom power. A stereo pair of RCA inputs can function at either line level or phono. In addition to the stereo pair of 1/4” TRS main outputs, the MPC Renaissance has 2 Assignable Mix Outs. For monitoring, there are both 1/4” and 1/8” stereo headphone outputs with a global level control. On the digital side, the Renaissance has both S/PDIF In and Out connections as well as 2 MIDI Inputs and 4 MIDI Outputs.The MPC Renaissance connects to your computer via USB 2.0 and provides an onboard hub, creating two additional USB (type A) ports to connect flash storage or controllers.
