Manufactured in 1939. Comes with original hard case. I do not know if this item works. I found it in a relatives basement. There appears to be no damage to the guitar or the case other than one missing string. And some corrosion on the case latches. There is a bit of corrosion on the metal parts of the guitar. Nothing too bad. And the wood is scratched and dirty. This item is old. And it's used. Just needs a little love.
