This is a beautiful, vintage Epiphone Emperor. I bought it in 2002 for about $4000 from Gruhn Guitars, and I've taken good care of it.. It's vintage, so cosmetically it's not perfect, but it's in good shape, and the sound is amazing: beautiful, warm bass and sparkling trebles. My days of playing it have been over for a while, so I want to get into the hands of someone who wants to play it or to have it in his or her collection, because you won't find many like this anymore. That said, in truth, I just want to move the guitar on down the road, so I'm pricing it incredibly low. Someone can buy and resell it and make a profit. I'm sixty-six, and just trying to lighten my load, looking for a Martin 000-28, if anyone with one wants to trade. Shipping, because of insurance--I think I'll insure it for $10,000, which is what I see some selling for on Ebay--, will cost you, but it'll be worth it.It even has its original, hard shell case.
