The Ribbon Pre works surprisingly well with all dynamic mics. Even your Shure 57 will sound like a new mic. Plenty of super clean gain. There are two preamps in the half rack unit - 2 ins, 2 outs. So it's convenient for recording overheads or a stereo setup. I've bought it a few months ago for a recording session that was canceled.It's virtually new with all docs and warranty.Check out my other studio items.Thank you!
