You are bidding on a lightly used (just a dozen or so projects) KORG D32XD digital audio workstation in perfect working order, with all the latest firmware and software already updated, and even a new clock battery installed; this king of multi-track recorders is 100% ready to go, right out of its heavy-duty custom-fit Pelican 1660 travel case. You'll also receive two M-Audio Studiophile BX5 monitors ($300 retail) and a high-quality custom-made DigitalDeckCovers quilted dust cover ($40) for the D32XD as well! ABOUT THE KORG D32XD: In 30+ years of professional recording, I sincerely have not used recording equipment I like better than the D32XD--undeniable quality, functionality, ease of use, intuitive feel. When mixing or applying effects, you feel like the D32XD is a musical instrument in your hands, responding to every subtle change so precisely and musically--adding greatly to the creative control and "emotional feel" you can give to a song, and to the creative process itself. The projects I recorded with the D32XD would not be the same had I used other equipment; of this I am certain. I'm honestly reluctant to let it go, as I've done my best work with it. It's time for me to down-size, however.AS REGARDS THE PELICAN 1660 CASE: My original thought was to use the D32XD to do larger-scale mobile recording gigs, so I purchased the case and had it customized to secure the D32XD on the lower layer of the case with a second protective layer on top for other sensitive equipment, such as microphones and monitors (please view the pictures). My business never led to doing remote recording, however, so the Pelican case is in unused condition, having only been in storage the past few years. If you are unfamiliar with Pelican cases, here are the specs for model 1660, now selling for $349.36 on the Pelican website:"Unbreakable, watertight, airtight, dustproof, chemical resistant and corrosion proof.
