Please see ALL PHOTOS and read the description.Up for sale here is a 1961 Original R.A. Moog Melodia Model Theremin. The box has scratches on it. All knobs are original and present. It was mounted on this period correct Atlas microphone stand when it was originally assembled. It is missing the antenna and battery holder. When I purchased it, the batteries were still in the holder, but they were corroded and the holder connectors were damaged. I neatly clipped the wires as close to the pack as I could and removed the pack and threw it away. It was a 4 AA battery pack that can be purchased from most electronics suppliers for less than $5. All of the soldered joints appear to be connected and tight. No loose wires except for the ones to be reattached to your new battery pack. I have not heard this machine working, but it appears to be pretty clean and I suspect it will work with a new battery pack and antenna. However, we are selling it in "as is" condition.
