Plump bass tones and , powerful rich notes ring out with every touch of the strings. The neck features diamond inlay work with a distinctive mahogany headstock. The neck joins the body at the 14th fret and the fingerboard is rosewood. Zemaitis acoustics are truly distinctive, there’s no mistaking a Zemaitis acoustic with it’s original Heart Shaped Sound Hole and Smiley bridge. However, its most notable feature is within the body material itself. The body top is solid Sitka spruce while the back and sides are solid rosewood. Heat and dry aging in a vacuum state removes excess water and minerals before assembly, creating a guitar that is fairly resistant to climate and temperature extremes. This Zemaitis will fast become your favorite acoustic guitar.Shape: Jumbo

It started in the early 90’s when I would travel to the UK a couple of times a year on the hunt for gear. My good friend, Gary Winterflood, made the introduction and I soon found myself in Tony Zemaitis’s workshop. It was incredibly small and I didn’t see any electrical tooling. Though he was one of the most skilled luthiers I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting, I think his Bugatti’s and other classics were his passion (and they were NICE). I found that Tony was very selective when it came to who he would build for. At first, he would not make me any guitars, but... I left with two metal tops that he agreed to part with during my first visit. Over the course of our friendship, he ended up making me five or six guitars. He would include a letter with each of the guitars and I never had them for very long. I am happy to be a part of the Zemaitis family again and carry on the name of a friend and incredible builder.”In our 30+ years of business, Customer Service has always been of the utmost importance to us.
