here is a little background on this bass there is a tuning key missing the 5th string its just the peg the gear is there you can get the original from ernie ball for 30 bucks or get a replacement for it cheaper the other issue is the battery box cover was taken off and wired directly to a 9 volt adapter plugthe bass is going to need a new preamp the wires came off the pickup brought it to guitar center to get the pickup soldered back to the board but guitar center said it needs a new preamp i called ernie ball and they said they can do the gig for about 100 bucks and have the bass up and running perfectly but i just do not want to pay the shipping to california and back when i can unload it for someone else to do 5 string stingray bass plays we'll
