The Shawna E is a 36 string instrument with all but the top strings significantly longer than in the Shawna. The longer base strings give the harp a stronger base range. The harp for sale is made from paduk, an exotic wood with a lovely mahogany color as seen in the photo. This gives it a mellow tone in the high treble range and a strong yet balanced bass. It is 16 years old, and in excellent condition. I am the second owner, the first owner being the harp maker's daughter, a professional musician. Current price for new Shawna E in exotic wood is approximately $5275.
