Here is a 2015 one of a kind Scheerhorn Pioneer resonator guitar/dobro square neck. It was made for the 2015 NAMM show, serial #104. It was originally purchased for $2,900, and its in like new, superb condition. Square neck. It has a metal body, 'relic' painted, ebony fingerboard, unfinished walnut neck, 25" scale, bone nut (1.95" width), Scheerhorn spider cone, Gotoh aged chrome tuners, 9 lbs, MOP dot inlays with Scheerhorn logo. It comes with a lovely hard shell padded case. The tone is fantastic. Warm and balanced like a wood instrument, but loud and cutting because of the metal body. Great for bluegrass or blues, or any style! The sound pops!! There's not another like it. Eric Smith from National Guitars, who builds the Scheerhorn guitars, wrote this to me:"#104 was a one of a kind. At the moment I don't have plans to build more of them, but you never know. I was looking to create an old stagecoach looking instrument.
