Carved spruce top and solid maple back and sides, extended ebony fretboard, and tuned parallel tone bar produce unsurpassed tone. The flame figuring on the back of the neck & body is absolutely astounding! The wide-grain spruce top hearkens back to the highly sought-after vintage mandolins of Gibson's golden age. But truly the sound of this gorgeous F-Style is what immediately captures the attention - a massive tone with huge sound projection.Cosmetic Condition: Very clean & like new with only a few minor nicks & dings; mild surface scratches.Neck: V-shaped flamed maple neck with white side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with no wear. Mother of pearl The Gibson & Flowerpot headstock inlays. Open-back strip tuners with pearloid buttons in perfect working condition. 1 1/16" nut width; 14" scale length.Body: Carved solid spruce top in Cremona Sunburst finish with 3-ply binding & dual F-holes.
