This is a Bach Stradivarius model 16 tenor trombone This instrument plays very well, and is fully functional, ready to play. The slide action is good. My father was using this on a regular basis in a Big Band. So as far as I can tell the horn in great condition.
It comes with the original case, but the handle needs to be replaced. NEW NOTE (added June 2, 2017): Upon closer inspection I can see that the finish is worn off just above the slide lock ring. I didn't notice this because my father has a piece of plastic wrapped around the tubing there. There are also some scratches on the underside of the bell. I have added new photos showing the tarnishing under the plastic wrapper, the scratches on the underside of the bell, and the interior of the mouthpiece that has interior damage The serial number is 83338.
