I love this guitar but unfortunately have to part ways with a good chunk of my musical equipment in preparation for some extended traveling. It plays like a les paul but lighter and can get you to higher registers because of it's long neck. I've never had trouble finding the tone I wanted whether it be bright or warm with this thing.Below is the description from the guitar center listing which some more technical details:Featuring the modern look and fast feel of the Les Paul double-cutaway body, the Les Paul Standard Double Cut Plus Electric Guitar is a true tone factory and a speed demon. The 490R alnico magnet humbucker at the neck and 498T humbucker at the bridge provide a huge, chunky sonic palette that'll take you from L.A. to Nashville to Chicago. The rosewood fingerboard has a full 24-fret reach and a silky, tight feel that's both fast and accessible. The carved figured maple top is sensually shaped and fairly glows, set off by the perfectly polished hardware. Mahogany back and neck, with tune-o-matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece.FeaturesCarved figured AAA maple topChambered mahogany bodyMahogany neck'60s-style slim taper neck profileRosewood fingerboard24-3/4" scale length24 frets1-11/16" nut width2.062" wide at 12th fretPearloid trapezoid inlaysSingle-ply fingerboard bindingGold or chrome (Midnight Burst only) hardwareStopbar tailpieceTune-o-matic bridgeAmber top hat knobsGrover kidney tuners490R Alnico magnet neck humbucker498T Alnico magnet bridge humbuckerOne volume, one tone, and three-way pickup switch
