Description
Brand: Vox Country/Region of Manufacture: United States
Model: Beatle Super Reverb

Vox Beatle Super Reverb in Very Good Condition - Model V1143Includes NEW North Coast Super Beatle Trolley (which cost $525.00 by itself).EVERYTHING is 100% fully functional and works as it should (including the "E" tuner, the "Tone X", the Reverb, the Tremolo, the Percussion, the "MRB" (Mid Range Boost) they ALL work.  All of the lights on the footswitch assembly work as well.ALL of the electrolytic capacitors in this amplifier have been recently and professionally replaced with new high-grade electrolytic capacitors (I think they are Nichicon's)Some parts are not original and have been replaceed (corners, handles, etc).I will supply a baggie with the amp containing the original corners that have been replaced. All replacement parts are Vox parts purchased from North Coast Music. It is my understanding that this "Beatle" was the last generation of Vox Beatles and was manufactured somewhere around 1970.On the speaker/bottom: The 4 - 12" speakers and horns are in very good working order however the speakers are NOT Vox Celestion Bulldogs but, to the best of by knowledge, are 4 - Eminence 12" with Alnico magnets.  Also the 2 - horns are not original and I am not able to identify the manufacturer.  There are 2 passive crossover networks installed for the protection of the horns/speakers.The head/amplifier/top has been professionally modified as follows:1) A grounded (3-prong) AC line cord has been installed2) A cooling fan has been installed next to the output transistor heatsink assembly3) A thermal switch has been installed to protect against output transistor assembly overheating (note: there have never been any heating issues with this amplifier).4) A Zobel Impedance Stabilization network has been installed on the amplifier output5) An inline "pigtail" fuse holder & fuse have been installed to help protect against output short circuits (i.e., a shorted speaker cable)This amplifier is all Solid State (transistors - no tubes) and was manufactured by the Thomas Organ Company in the United States under license of Vox of England and is rated at 120 watts RMS into a 2 Ohm Load.I will, most likely, ship this amplifier in three boxes (speaker, head and trolley) and the trolley will be disassembled (some assembly required). Please feel free to ask questions! (I am an amp tech/electrical engineer so feel free to ask technical questions)NO INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING!
