For sale is my 2004 Les Paul Standard. I bought this new from Dave's Guitar and after it was delivered it has has never left my house since.It is a great looking guitar with an outstanding flame maple top and a nice 50's neck profile. I haven't seen too many plain old Standards with a top this nice. I believe when I bought the guitar they listed the color as Ice Tea but it really looks like Lightburst to me. I tried to take pics from several different angles and in different light so you can be the judge. The guitar has the original Burstbucker V's installed. The original wiring harness and control plate were removed and the guitar has been re-wired 50's style with CTS 500K pots and orange drop caps. I have done a few pickup swaps over the years so there is a little bit of solder build up on the volume pots, however, the connections are all solid and the guitar sounds great. The top of the guitar is very clean but the back does have 3 small dings that you can see in the pictures along. The only other issue is a slight indentation in the fretboard on the 5th fret behind the high E string. I tried to capture it in a photo but it is very slight and doesn't really show up. It does not effect the playability in any way. The pickguard has never been installed but is included in the case. Note- there is no pickguard bracket. There was not one included and I never wanted to install the guard anyway. Includes the original case which has some white scuffs on it from sliding it in and out of he closet over the years. This is an absolutely wonderful guitar and is my pride and joy, however, I just don't play that much anymore so I am downgrading and looking for a new home for this one. Will ship to he US only.
