Here is a fantastic playing Bach 42B, early 80's vintage. It has a very characteristic, big Bach sound that will not break up at very loud volumes. Remarkably easy playing, as I've often found the older Bachs to be in comparison with their contemporary counterparts.Mechanical condition is very good, movement is sound for the tuning slides and rotor. Handslide action is about 8 out of 10. Just received the "Wrights" polishing treatment on the inside of the outer slides. Action is good enough to play out of the box, but it would benefit from a slide job.Lacquer has largely been removed, so it's a raw brass horn.
