1967 Gretsch Country Gentleman Guitar body/neck. Made in USA (serial number: 371xx). Neck joint is very tight.  Tight enough that I believe it has been reset.  It is rare to find a 60s Gretsch that does not need neck reset work.  Neck angle is good.  Body has had the binding replaced.  It was well done but is lighter than the neck binding.  Body appears to have been oversprayed with clear.  It looks like they lightly sanded the original finish as much as they dared then clear coated it.  Because of that, you can see the checking in the finish as well as numerous tiny dings on top and some on the back.  A few of the tiny dings might possibly be some fish-eye in the clear coat.  Because of the treatment, the color and grain on the body is very attractive.  The back of the neck below the headstock  has been oversprayed with a tinted coat.  It is fairly thick and has a fair amount of fish-eye.  As is common on 60s Gretsches, the center seam of the neck has separated ever so slightly from the top of the headstock to about half way down the neck.  It does not move and is stable.  I looked at the neck with a UV light source as well as a bright light and can see no indication of a break or repair.  Guitar played great before being taken apart.  This would make a great high end custom or just build it out with Gretsch parts.
