Teisco's masterpiece... the SS4L.Incredible tones from these four goldfoil pickups. Throw away your dirt pedals - you don't need them with this guitar. Nastiness in spades with everything turned up. Tame things with the volume dial and you get the clarity and string definition that make the SS4L one of the best ever slide guitars.Finding one in good shape isn't easy. This is a very healthy example. The very fat neck is straight and the original frets still decent. All pickups, switches and dials work just fine. Finish shows some wear, but not bad considering the guitar is 55 years old. The tremolo bar is missing as they always seem to be.If you're in the market for an SS4L , this is a good one. Comes in a nonoriginal hardshell case.
