Straight from our brass (and silver) instrument repair shop, our USED horns are brought back to life...All major dents are removed, joints re-soldered (if needed), patches repaired (if necessary) and the slides are reworked for the best possible play.  Our horns may be buffed, but all are hand polished to a good shine and are in good playable condition.  For the collector who is looking for an instrument; we try to keep the original parts whenever possible; if the playability is good, we feel it should be left to the buyer's discretion to replace parts as desired.  We are proud to offer this refurbished instrument for sale. We have tried to describe it as it is, and are happy to answer any questions asked.  #38/2016Up for sale is a 1991 88H Artist Symphony USA Tenor Professional Trombone made by CG Conn LTD. This instrument is made of Conn red brass, yellow brass, and solid nickel. There are various dings and lots of scratching throughout, with some minor rippling and light etching on the bell. There is heavy pitting on the grips.  The slide action is good/very good, with excellent compression. The slide stockings are in very good condition.  This has been a well-used horn; the receiver piece on the bell with serial # had to be replaced and the original part is included.  The valve operates as intended and is a good playing horn with full, broad power and has a nice, full tone.  "The 88H has a standard rose brass bell for a warm tone and subtle response.
