I know NOTHING about guitars, except I think they look cool & Eddie can make them sing' like nobody else!! ~~~ PLEASE ENLARGE & LOOK CLOSE AT ALL PHOTOS FOR ACTUAL CONDITION ~~~"UPDATE @ 7:20PM 06/01/2017 - I just tested the guitar an hour ago, it works/plays/sounds good*. And the 4 volume/tone knobs & pickup switch work fine :) *using the only 2 strings on the guitar
-The Walnut/brown wood has many scratches/nicks/chips, especially on backside from a belt buckle I'm guessing?
-The Ebony wood on fretboard looks to me to be in nearly mint condition IMHO.
-The frets don't look like they have much if any wear.
-The Chrome parts are clean & shiny.
-The output jack, the 4 nice & clear volume/tone knobs & 6 Chrome tuning pegs are solid with no wobble/not loose... and they all spin smooth.
-I looked for and do not see any obvious cracks or separation in the wood anywhere :)
-The nut is nice with no cracks, pick guard has no cracks with only faint scratches, everything is tight/solid. -Looking from many angles, the neck looks to be straight with no warping/bends/twisting.
-No extra holes drilled or modifications that I can tell.... IMHO it has ALL ORIGINAL PARTS :)*I did a Google image search, comparing photos of other late 81's & 82' modelsThe Cons'... It only has 2 strings installed, the #6 saddle is missing from the bridge, and 1 screw missing from pick guard.
Not sure what other details are important to mention? Again I know NOTHING about guitars except what I just learned using Google. I traded this with a neighbor for my GT mountain bike around 10-15 years ago, as he needed a bike & I no longer rode it, and I thought this guitar looked cool as a piece of art... he said it worked fine when we traded, but I have NO idea if it actually works/plays OK? I nor anyone I know plays guitar to test it, sorry :(
(and it only has 2 strings installed) PLEASE ask ANY / ALL questions BEFORE you buy... please & thank you!! ~~~ HANDLING FEE ADDED TO COVER THE POSTAL INSURANCE COST... Shipped USPS with tracking number, label printed through eBay ~~~
