Fender 1977-78 Telecaster Black / Black with Maple Neck Used w/ Original Hard CaseCondition: Very GoodProduction Year: 1977-78 Serial Number: S850864Color: Black with Black PickguardNeck / Fingerboard: Maple Accessories: Original Hard CaseOriginal equipment: everything except the 3-way pickup selector switch (just installed)I am the second owner of this 1977-78 Fender Telecaster (note: it is not possible to pinpoint the exact year based on Serial #, but I believe it to be a 1978). It has some pickguard and body wear, but nothing too serious. If anything, my poor photography skills have accented the wear -- it is harder to see most of the marks in normal lighting. Exception is a couple marks on the back of the body, most likely buckle rash from the previous owner.Neck is straight and true and plays/sounds fantastic.Previous owner also modded this guitar to include some out-of-phase pickup combinations (and a 5-way switch). I recently had a skilled guitar tech go over the guitar (can provide receipt showing work done upon purchase), give it a new set-up/strings, buff the guitar body, and restore the guitar to its original configuration. Thus, the 3-way pickup selector switch is new, but otherwise this is all original equipment. This has left a small hole in the (original) switch plate where the mod switch was removed, this can be seen in the photos. Shipping charge ($85) includes professional packing and insurance......I will cover the (likely) overage of the actual charge. Shipments will require delivery signature -- for your protection and mine. Please feel free to ask for more information.
