A Statement From Gary Hernandez, Owner of Guitars West:“I have long been a fan of the Zemaitis brand. It started in the early 90’s when I would travel to the UK a couple of times a year on the hunt for gear. My good friend, Gary Winterflood, made the introduction and I soon found myself in Tony Zemaitis’s workshop. It was incredibly small and I didn’t see any electrical tooling. Though he was one of the most skilled luthiers I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting, I think his Bugatti’s and other classics were his passion (and they were NICE). I found that Tony was very selective when it came to who he would build for. At first, he would not make me any guitars, but... I left with two metal tops that he agreed to part with during my first visit. Over the course of our friendship, he ended up making me five or six guitars. He would include a letter with each of the guitars and I never had them for very long. I am happy to be a part of the Zemaitis family again and carry on the name of a friend and incredible builder.”In our 30+ years of business, Customer Service has always been of the utmost importance to us.
