Here is a ultra rare 1968-1970 Mory Sappho 3 Japan Bizarre Vintage Guitar for sale! This super cool guitar is modeled after late 60's Yamaha SG2!!! Body wood unknown, maple neck w/rosewood fretboard, vintage sunburst finish w/ tortoiseshell pick guard, original single coil pick ups w/ vol & tone + 3 way pick up selector switch, Jazzmaster style vibrato & bridge, guitar weighs 2.85 kilos on my digital scale, new gig bag included! I believe this guitar was made by Morris or Moridira and sold by Sappho Gakki in Shizuoka, Japan in the late 60's as one of their shop original guitars in the popular Surf music era of the 60's. This guitar is almost 50 years old, but in very good vintage condition w/ some scratches, dimples & dings and some wear on the hardware due to use and age, some fret wear, the guitar plays excellent w/ very good action, vibrato arm is not original but fitted perfectly in the unit and works great, Overall in very good vintage condition!!! *** Please look at all the pics carefully for details, exact condition, and originality *** I do not have any other info or history on this guitar, so please don't ask ***
