This gorgeous Custom 24 was one of only 8 guitars that were built for a top dealer in the UK in celebration of their 8th Anniversary. The wood was personally pulled from the Private Stock vault by Paul Reed Smith himself. These guitars were not available in the USA. This PRS Custom 24 features a gorgeous Private Stock 1 piece quilted maple top, flame maple neck and hand selected lightweight Mahogany back. Now this one kids is a KILLER Custom 24 that has all the Private Stock appointments but not the Private Stock price. Its finished in a gorgeous exclusive custom color called Faded Purple Jean that was only done for this run of guitars only. Built out July 2016 this Custom 24 its also nice and light weight just 7 pounds 15 ounces. Absolutely stunning tone woods was used for this guitar and with Paul Reed Smith personally selecting the Private Stock wood it’s a winner and you just cant go wrong.
The wood library program at PRS is a wonderful program that allows the dealers to pull wood from the Private Stock vault and select tone woods not normally available outside of Private Stock. When selecting a PRS its about the tone wood options they offer to get you the tone you to want to achieve and this 2016 Wood Library Custom 24 is a prime example of that. This Custom 24 has a Private Stock 1 piece top and flame maple neck but not the Private Stock price.
This Custom 24 features a pattern thin neck, 1 piece huge quilted Private Stock maple top, Private Stock flamed maple neck, Gabon Ebony fingerboard, Faded Purple Jean Finish, Vintage Bass and HFS pickups the guitar just screams with a brilliant tone like no other Custom 24.
The guitar is in mint as new unplayed condition with all factory paperwork, hang tags, and shipping carton. It also comes with a USB flash drive that has photos of the guitar on it as well as a hard bound book that has many photos of the guitar.
