This listing is for a Gibson Les Paul CM guitar in great condition. I purchased the guitar a year ago and have only played it for approximately one hour and exclusively for studio recording purposes. The guitar is excellent in every way but I only ever play my ’62 Melody Maker anymore. The matte-finish black body looks mean yet tasteful. The pickup is very impressive in terms of sheer power. It’s purely a rocker - not for playing country or tones in that range. It's also very lightweight compared to most Les Pauls. The guitar initially featured the G-Force robot tuners (not included) which have been replaced with Grover locking tuners. Also, the tone capacitor was upgraded to an Orange Drop. I’d love to keep the guitar around just to stare at it but I can’t justify keeping a guitar because of its beauty so I’m significantly reducing the original price. As always, the buyer should plan on having it set up to match their preferences. Right now the action is fairly low and the guitar is strung with Ernie Ball 9s. This listing also includes the original gig bag, the original Gibson box, original documents, and other case candy. My home has always been smoke-free and pet-free.
