with Original Fender CaseUsed - Excellent Condition Completely stock late 70's Fender Stratocaster hard tail, finished in original wine red, This semi-translucent finish allows you to see the beautiful Ash grain beneath the finish. Original solder joints, pots, pick ups and wiring, nothing has been removed or disturbed since it's build date of late 1979. Pictures available upon request. Guitar comes with original Fender Tolex case as pictured. Cosmetic and Functionality DescriptionBody: some easily noticeable wear in the finish can be seen on the top, back, and sides of the body, plus some scuff marks, scratches, and dings can be seen too, but this just seems to add to the charm and character of this beauty; some light scratches can be seen on the pickguardNeck, Fretboard, and Headstock: the fretboard has some small dings in the lacquer that do not affect playability--there is a medium-sized ding in the lacquer between the 10th and 11th frets almost under the G-string, but this should not affect playability either; the back of the neck has a few slight indentations that are almost unnoticeable to the touch and should not affect the neck's comfortable feel; the headstock has some very tiny nicks in the lacquer that can be found on the front, back, and sidesAction and Playability: the action is about medium; the neck is straight and the truss rod functions flawlesslyFrets: moderate wear--there are some grooves starting to form on the mid to lower frets, however there is not any fret out at all when playingHardware: all looks fantasticElectronics: all functions flawlesslyIncludes: electric guitar and original Fender hardshell case FeaturesAsh contoured bodyTransparent wine red finishBlack/Whit/Black three layer pickguardMaple neckMaple fretboardBlack dot inlays21 fretsChrome Fender tunersChrome hardwareOriginal single-coil pickups x 3
