Not a genuine Fender Hot Rod model obviously which I think only comes in butterscotch and sunburst with a barrel type bridge. I have no idea what Fender calls this color but it’s super cool – like a gold-silver. Original owner said a guitar builder friend put the Seymour Duncan mini bucker in the neck. Guitar appears to be an American Standard. I’m not sure the bridge is Fender but the saddles are of high quality and the bridge plate is nicely made. Could be an upgrade. Everything else looks to be OEM.When I got the guitar the bridge pickup sounded pretty nice but it was really weak compared to the super loud mini bucker neck pickup. So I did some research on “loud” pickups and replaced the bridge with a Rio Grande Muy Grande. It’s a very close loudness match now and the tele has some super nice tone. The bridge pickup has some of twang but I think it’s more of a rock n roll tele. And has a LOT of sustain. The old pickup is in the case.Guitar is excellent condition, 9.5+. Case is very good +, latches are a little finicky.Guitar weight is a little heavy - about  8.2 lbs on my scale. Very comfortable chunky “C” shape profile neck.Just one minor issue with the guitar  - a loose wire wire I wasn’t able to figure out. If it arrives dead you just need to pull the control plate out and move some wires until the sound returns and carefully put the plate back in. It will probably arrive just fine as it’s been handled a lot without issue for a while now. Anyway it’s not really a big deal.Reason for selling - after getting this guitar I bought another Tele that I’ve been looking out for so selling a couple in the herd including this one which I haven’t gotten too attached yet. Shipping in a lighter weight case and selling basically for what I paid, probably less actually.I’m only going to be home until Saturday so BIN or make an offer soon if you want it. If it doesn’t sell I’ll probably relist in July.US bidding and shipping (but Global program ok) Paypal only please.
