FENDER ROAD WORN STRATOCASTER I had been searching for the ideal electric for years when I played this wonder in Denmark Street and fell in love with the feel and the sound. The worn feel of the neck is amazing! Smooth and somehow soulful. And the tex-mex single coil pick-ups is in my opinion the fullest and richest sound fender have to offer (really sounds like an American Strat!). And the icing on the cake is the shadowy sunburst and BLACK scratch-plate combined with the maple fret-board (ebony definitely better on road-worn models), making it a more understated look compared to some of the more show-off strat colour combos. I am sad to be selling the best electric guitar I have ever owned! But needs must be met as I play bass and acoustic guitars much more these days, and I need funds for new guitars. In road-worn condition (worn finish on all parts) but no accidental dings. Made in 2011-12 and I’ve owned it for 4 years. Well looked after and rarely gets played in recent years. Sold with ‘Rockcase’ hard case (a tiny bit scuffed & 3 small tears on outer vinyl), tremolo arm and original manual etc. Just had service and new strings. UK only. No time wasters please. HIGHLIGHTS: - 1960s style with aged/worn body, neck, finish and hardware touches. - Maple neck with “C”-shaped profile. - Tex-Mex™ pickups with modern five-way switching. - Vintage-style synchronized tremolo bridge. - Worn nitrocellulose-lacquer finish.
