Rickenbacker 1997 Pearl White 12 string! In 2012 Rickenbacker made a limited run of 10 instruments, finished in a metallic flake Pearl White colour. They were 6 string instruments designated as model 1997PW (short for Pearl White). These were for the UK market only. This instrument was converted to a 12 string by William Young Guitars in France. He routed the headstock to accommodate the extra 6 strings, sprayed to match the colour, changed the nut and bridge and het presto, it was done. So a fairly simple job. It plays beautifully, with a nice low action. The trapeze tailpiece, "stubby" truss rod cover, dot inlayed neck, gold guards give it a kind of retro chic Pete Townshend, early WHO feel. It comes with original hardshell case and case candy.Delivery to the mainland UK is FREE, via Fed Ex next day delivery or delivered in person if you're reasonably close to me or quoted as an extra for international shipments, the £150 is only a guide created by Ebay! I pack guitars extremely well and will provide a full pictorial email of the packing process, for peace of mind.
