What makes this guitar special: A super cool, player's grade Coronado II hollow body electric guitar. The Wildwood finish has been stripped, but there is still evidence of variegation in the natural finish, mostly along the rims. The slender neck is very comfortable to play & the original single coils still sound great. The hollow body design allows for a nice acoustic resonance even unplugged & the guitar rings nicely. Cosmetic Condition: Typical play wear for its age with some nice vintage mojo - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. As previously stated, the original Wildwood finish has been removed & the guitar now has a natural finish look. The original pickguard is missing & the screw holes have been filled. Overall the guitar has a great, true vintage look to it with a beautiful patina.Neck: Slender profile maple neck with nicely aged cream binding & black side-dots. Beautiful rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. Original frets do show wear, but still have life in them. Grover Pat Pend tuners with "F" logo & pearloid buttons. 1 5/8" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod is functioning. Neck stamp reads 19 APR 68 B.Body: Hollow beechwood body with bound F-holes. 3-ply bound top & single-ply binding on the back. Unoriginal tremolo tailpiece & Tune-O-Matic style bridge on a floating rosewood base. The original pickguard is missing & the screw holes have been filled. Guitar weighs 6 lbs 8.4 oz.Pickups: Original DeArmond single coils. Bridge - 7.12K ohms; Neck - 7.06K ohms. Dual volume & tone controls with 3-way toggle switch. All electronics are in good working condition.Case: Original hardshell case included. The handle broke a long time ago & was replaced with a makeshift one.
