Modified 80's E-Series Squier StratocasterI bought this guitar from an owner who stored it away most of its' life. This strat is a Reissue of the early 60' models with Basswood Bodies (not Plywood). I wanted to make the ultimate Classic Rock Strat so I decided the SSL-5 Set was the way to go. The Bridge has been upgraded with a F.U. Brass Big Block, a Brass Spring Claw, Noiseless Tremolo Springs, new Stainless Tremolo Screws.The Tremolo Arm that fits the original block is bigger than the F.U. Block so the hole in the Tremolo is bigger than the Block hole.You get the Stock Parts shown in photos. No Tremolo Back Cover.The Nut was in fairly bad condition so I had the local music shop replace it with a Graphtech Nut.I painted in Sheilding and added an Aluminum Shield Insert from GFS.The Electronics are CTS and the Caps are Orange Drop. The Bridge/Middle Tone Knob is a Fender TBX and in the Center Position it is Bypassed like a vintage Strat. When you roll it forward the Bass and Mids are cut and the Treble is boosted. When you roll it back the Treble and Mids are cut and the Bass is boosted.Comes with a red leather Strap with Ernie Ball Straploks. see photo 12I used Planet Waves lubrication on the Nut and this guitar stays in-tune remarkably well when the Tremolo is used. The Tone and Sustain are greatly improved as well.There are some paint chips on the guitar and the case is missing one hinge - see all photos.I will ship with the strings loosened to take tension off of the neck.Set up standard tuning, 9-46 NYXL
