Extremely Nice two-texture Silver Plated H.B. Jay Trumpet. Very rare to find one in this condition. Plays well. Compression good. Everything functions as it should . Valves and slides all smooth. Includes Bb as well as A slides - they're all there. A professional level horn - - Louis "Satchmo" Armstrong played a Cornet / Trumpet made by Jay. Reverse leadpipe. This horn was ahead of its time. Very clear engraving. Serial numbers on valves match the trumpet. No patches. Excellent condition - silver 99%.Someone cared about this horn and maintained it! See photos. Includes the original case that has some scuffs but is very functional - it even still has the sash.
