Up for consideration is a rare 1974 Fender Stratocaster in very good shape structurally, but obviously the body has plenty of wear. Most of the Sunburst finish has worn off, and naturally there dings and scratches that are consistent with a guitar of this age. I was originally going to strip the finish down to the wood, but after much speculation, and advice, I decided to keep it the way that it was. It has a very cool vintage vibe and look to it! Structurally, it is solid...No cracks, or repairs of any kind. The neck is straight, and the action is low...The frets are in good shape as well. The guitar is all original with the exception of the pickups and the tuners. The pickups are most likely either Mexican or USA Strat pickups, but I cannot verify 100% if they are or not. Also, they are not soldered in, as that's not one of my skills. I bought it a few years ago without the original pickups, and with the hopes of finding a set of original pickups, but that never transpired. The pickguard is original though. The tuners are vintage Schallers, and the rest of the guitar is original. Cosmetically, it's hard to grade because of the finish...Aside from that, it's a solid 7/10. I do realize it's hard to buy a guitar online, so please ask any questions you may have prior to bidding. If you would be able to locate a set of vintage Strat pickups, or already own a set, this would be a really cool guitar.Please ask all questions prior to bidding. The guitar is sold as photographed and described to the best of my ability. I will sell internationally, but only to those with verified Paypal addresses only.
