Fender Stratocaster ST 54 LS - "Japanese Clapton"
Another rare beauty that I will have to let go... This is a really amazing guitar, and the best value for money you could ever possible get..  This guitar is a 93'/94' made in Japan 1954 vintage reissue factory loaded with the same features as the early 1990s' USA-made Clapton Strats, such as a 7.25" radius 22-fret soft V-shape maple neck and three Gold Lace Sensor pickups with 25 dB active mid-boost and TBX electronics. There is battery located in a special compartment routed on the back of the body to power the boost, just like in Clapton's guitar. The bridge is a diecast block S5D vintage-style tremolo system. Vintage White body.. Body: Alder Neck: Maple Fingerboard Pickups alone are around $300AUD on eBay, check them out! These guitars have a "soft v" type of neck which to me are the most comfortable I've ever played..  but the most unique feature of this guitar is the "Clapton circuit".. In a nutshell, you can get all Clapton tones with this only guitar, from the "woman tone" of cream era (Les Paul) to the more gritty overdriven tone of newer Clapton's era such as "from the cradle" and "reptile" albums.. The boost is like having a Tube Screamer on the guitar, I use it a lot as a boost for solos and to push the amp to break sooner. Over a clean or an overdriven amp the tones you can get are amazing.. just check them out on youtube The guitar has a few scratches, dents, lacquer peeling/dirt on the fingerboard and the usual abrasion/rust on the hardware product of normal wear of a 20+ instrument. All these add to the guitars mojo and character..  The playing condition is outstanding, low action and straight neck, no issues at all, it plays like a dream. Frets are still around 60% left all leveled and no issues. The fretboard is silky and really fast due to the natural wear of playing. This is a real wear from playing.. not a fake relicing involved Serial number: Q006283 Manufacture country: Japan, in the world famous Fujigen factory Year of Manufacture: 1993-1994 Weight: 3.4 kg  These Japanese guitars are very sought after because they are amazingly good.. As far as quality goes i'd say it's on par with the USA Strats I own, this one in particular appears to have all American parts. If you would like more info/photos just contact me thanks Mauricio
