Here for your consideration is a rare 1938 Bacon & Day Tatham Special Senorita Tenor Banjo. It has a 3-piece maple neck, green pearloid covering on resonator, gray perloid on rim, , fingerboard, heelcap and headstock overlay, 19 frets with inscribed fancy markers, 24 brackets, simple metal tone hoop, "GROVER PAT." tuners, (one tuner has been replaced with a correct era but not exact GROVER PAT) armrest, new Presto tailpiece, new calf skin head and a new bridge. Neck is straight, the frets are decent. It is playing well but as always we suggest you take this to your favorite luthier for set up. The banjo DOES NOT come with a case but it will be packed perfectly.
