This is for a Kevin Holubar Custom 1960 Relic Stratocaster. It has a B Hefner Solid Alder Light Weight Vintage Spec. Body and Slab board Maple and Rosewood Neck that has been Painted and Aged in a Nitro Finish to mimic a Faded Two Tone 1959-60 Strat. The Neck is nice Full .87 at the First to .98 at the 12th Fret, it has nice Rolled Edges with Dunlop 6100 Jumbo Frets with a Really Nice hand Polished and Cut Bone Nut. The Finish has real Checking that has to be seen in a certain Light and the aging of the finish is about as real looking as it gets. It has the Fullerplast Yellow undercoat like the Real PRECBS Strats did. It weighs exactly 7.0 on my digital Scale. It has a Aged Tremolo with a Correct Block that allows the Strings to sit near flush with the top of the Block. It has a "True Vintage series" Green Pick Guard that is the correct vintage Wide bevel and 1.0 Thickness with correct screw pattern and color. It has the Full Aluminum Shield Underneath. with three spoke small letter Vintage Correct Knobs as well. The Pickups are the Hard to Come by 'Slider 59' Pickups which are the best I have heard besides Real vintage. It has a master tone knob for all 3 pickups and a Passive Midboost on the rear knob that really sounds amazing and Fattens up the pickups without sacrificing treble or Vintage Tone. It has Vintage Correct contours on the body with Vintage 3 Single Coil Routing and worm route.The photos don't do it justice and I am sure I am forgetting some Details about this guitar. It has alot going on and it is the nicest of any relic I have owned. It ships in a G and G Custom Brown Case. |
