Here we have a very rare indeed Takamine En-15 ! I can only find one other for sale on the net and they are asking 995 dollars. Then there'd be shipping and import duties ! This guitar has seen some action, so if you like a mint guitar that will be polished weekly after playing 'wish you were here' , then put in it's case this is not for you. If you are a serious , or gigging musician this guitar may be the one for you. non cutaway Electro acoustic guitar. Looks to have Rosewood back & sides, with a solid Cedar top which has some damage / splits due to shrinkage and drying out of the top I believe. One is particularly visible and has been glued and repaired by a luthier and is solid . Rosewood bridge and fretboard, Mahogany neck. The guitar has no structural issues to the body otherwise . The neck is as straight as an arrow and the frets look in good condition, I'm guessing they have been replaced, or dressed as this guitar has been played a lot. The preamp has been up graded to the modern CT-4B II with built on tuner. This is an awesome gigging guitar, and it sounds sublime straight through a PA. It's unplugged sound is deep, and resonant ! This comes from 30 years of playing in, and maturing of the tonewoods. The tuners have been upgraded to a set of schallers , and the guitar has been newly strung with a fresh set of strings. Bone nut & split saddles as standard, with loads left for lowering the action which is perfect for me at 3mm at the 12th fret.No Takamine case I'm afraid, but I can provide a non Takamine hard case for shipping for an extra £35.00
