This is a Silver Plated VMI 3171A 4-Valve Euphonium. It was Made in Germany and is a very high quality, nicely playing instrument. It is very similar in quality to the Yamaha YEP-321, but this on uses a large shank mouthpiece (which makes the low notes come out a little easier). This instrument. The instrument is in very good condition. See pictures. It does not have any large dents, but it does have scratches, dings, and small dents. Also, there are a few spots were the silver plating has started bubbling up. I am including the case and mouthpiece.
