Affectionately known as Sir Redmond Bari of Barisville (for Kubrick fans), this horn is a beast. I've had it for about 5 years and used it primarily for studio recording. I just recently had it overhauled with new pads, new felt, some tightening and adjusting, etc.. It's a 1979 vintage and it's been modified with a bell extension for the low A. I've found it's great for Morphine-like rock bari stuff in the low end when I use my metal mouthpiece, as well as jazz with a smaller rubber mouthpiece. Lacquer is worn and there are some little chips in the lacquer on the neck as you can see in the photos, etc.. However, the horn plays great and I've always liked it's unique and big sound. Comes with a hardshell case as well.
