Do not get this confused with the newer Savoy guitars that are made in Korea, this is pure American muscle. The X150D was introduced in 1998 and made until around 2003.  The X150D body is laminated curly maple; the neck is mahogany with a rosewood fretboard and block inlays. The Savoy had two custom designed Guild chrome plated humbucking pickup, with chrome Grover tuners and Guild harp tailpiece.
