Antique brass finish14 x 5.5R4 StrainerHyperventGeorge Way flanged hoopsAhead padded bag includedIncludes Brand New Aquarian  top and bottom headsIncludes Brand New Puresound Custom Series 30 strand snare wiresIt had been 10 years since I treated myself to a new drum.  Having owned a Dunnett cherry monoply since 2005 I knew of the quality and excellent sound of Ronn Dunnett's drums.  For 6 months I studied videos and read everything I could find about this particular model.  I bought this drum from its first owner through ebay.  I am sad that I have to part with this beautiful snare "But I got the kind of debts that no honest man can pay".  There are many videos available and having played this drum I can attest to the sound quality.  Warm, crisp, fat etc.  When I had the heads off to take photos I had the chance to really appreciate the quality of this drum.  The brass shell is perfect.  Smooth, consistent and heavy!  In my opinion, this is the real reason to buy a Dunnett, beyond the other quality parts.  It is like a fine piece of art.  The Aquarian heads and upgraded  Puresound Custom 30's bring out the drums warmth and full brass sound.  I hope to buy the same drum in the future but this time around it it is more important to pay my bills.  Please note that I managed to strip one of the drum key operated ribbon tightening bolts on the butt end of the strainer.  The ribbon does not slip using just one of the tightening bolts.  I have been in contact with Mr Dunnett and he said he would replace the part.  If he does I am happy to send it to the winner of this auction.  I checked and it is $9.98 for a Dunnett R Class snare drum butt end part.  Also, the butt end was popping off some of the time as I put the drum back together after taking photos.  I believe this is because I have the wires too tight.  I offer this in full disclosure and don't want anyone to experience any "surprises".I believe current wait time for this model is 2 or 3 months.  Good luck and I hope the winner of this drum enjoys it very much!
