selling a very lovely 335 style guitar, made by Edwards. this guitar is made in Japan, and i seriously believe, as do the people that have played this guitar, that it is as well made and sounding, as any 335 made by G.i took this description from another website. "The Edwards E-SA are faithful replicas of the original ES-335. So we find a construction around a table, sides and a back in maple (solid top & back !!), as well as a handle glued "long tenon" mahogany matched to a rosewood fingerboard (SA- 125). SAs benefit from the Lacquer Taste finish (cellulosic varnish) Hard Case ES " this guitar does not sit on a stand for long, in order to protect the finish. the top and sides are not pancaked. they are solid wood. the finish is a satin laquer. the neck is a full neck. very 50's. the guts have all been changed. Bourns pots and russian pio caps. Burstbucker 1 and 2, respectively. the tuners are satin Grovers. holds tune perfectly. the pineapple applique was also done by a previous owner. it can be removed, but i left it as is. the guitar weighs in at 9lbs.4oz. not light, but well made and balanced.the bridge has been changed and upgraded. it was done by the previous ower. i can't recall what manufacturer. i've had the guitar for over 2 years. i will try to find the original ad and put that info here. it's a beautiful satin VSB and has some weight(very well balanced). the original HSC is in very good to perfect condition, with green plush lining. a little dusty in the photos.the guitar has no blemishes that i can find. i've kept it in the case 99% of the time i've had it. all work and setups have been done by a very reputable luthier in town, and his work is always reliable.try to find a guitar of this quality for this price. for instance:last year i bought a 2015 G ES335. truss wouldn't work. returned it for another, just like it. again, truss wouldn't work. so, i've given up on G 335s. i have another 335 style guitar that i like to play. not nearly as well made as the Edwards. i just don't play this beautiful guitar enough to just keep it in the case, all the time. i have another project in mind and selling this will help me along.thanks for looking. thanks, but...not interested in a trade, unless you might have a Elitist Casino! offers encouraged.
